BLAC. offers a complete service from the initial briefing through to project completion and ongoing horticultural maintenance, ensuring design integrity is maintained and your brief is entirely fulfilled.
Our process can be structured in such a manner that dictates the level of detail your project requires, which can include all or some of the following services.
DISCOVERY SESSION
Our initial meeting is to establish your brief and gain an intimate understanding of your space, how you use, how you wish to use it, your likes and dislikes. We will collate your ideal wish list and any inspirational images that you may have collated prior to our session.
We will then suggest the best design service for you based upon your requirements, and a fee proposal will be submitted for your consideration. Please note we do not disclose our intentions for your landscape during this meeting.
TENDERING
We work with you and our preferred registered landscape contractors to obtain quotes for construction. Choosing the right contractor for your project is paramount to the quality, longevity of the construction and integrity of the design.
We hand select plant stock from our preferred growers and nurseries ensuring healthy, quality stock. Our team can also position the plants, as per the planting plan, and install them according to the Australian standards.
LANDSCAPE DESIGN
We will consolidate the approved brief and develop a 3D conceptual design which will include a plant and material palette for your approval.
Once approved, we move to the Design Development stage. This stage contains 2D plans that include planting, hardscaping and lighting plans and specifications from which you can obtain quotes for construction.
PROJECT PROCUREMENT
We work in-conjunction with the construction team to ensure a seamless delivery of your landscape so that the design integrity is retained. This can range from sourcing materials, to signing off on site set-outs, and sign off upon construction completion.
STYLING
Styling completes any space be it an interior or exterior. Our exterior spaces deserve the same amount of attention as our interiors, which we are very passionate about. Your space should be welcoming, comfortable and aesthetically beautiful. Our styling services will ensure a magazine-worthy result for your own space.
PLANT SELECTION + INSTALLATION
HORTICULTURAL MAINTENANCE
From the moment your garden has been installed, it needs to be nurtured. Whether you're an avid gardener or a weekend potterer, your investment should be visited by a qualified horticulturalist at least twice a year to ensure ultimate plant health and maturity.
BLAC. offers garden maintenance from our team of qualified horticulturalists. This maintenance can be implemented seasonally or scheduled as required.
DESIGN REVIEW
For existing clients with an established BLAC garden, we are able to offer a site visit from Creative Director, Peta to ensure your garden is growing as per the original concept. Peta will assess the garden and submit a report of suggested actions to ensure your garden will mature as intended.
